"It can be a challenge keeping up to date with the latest developments around the management of chronic conditions, especially COPD. COPDexchange is an easily accessible, evidence-based resource, developed for primary care practitioners. It provides succinct information to facilitate the provision of appropriate management and care for COPD patients, from diagnosis through to the terminal phase."

All COPDexchange materials are developed in conjunction with an independent editorial panel consisting of five expert GPs and nurses, to ensure their accuracy and relevance to primary care.

COPDexchange learning modules – perfect for reading in a 10-minute break!
Developed exclusively for COPDexchange, these concise, interlinking learning modules interpret guidelines and help you relate them to your clinical practice. Treatment and management guidelines are distilled into simple, easy-to-understand fact sheets, with helpful diagrams and case studies. The modules can be used to build up a library of practice-based learning that supports your Professional Development Plan.

There are four types of COPDexchange learning modules providing information on the causes and risk factors for COPD, screening and diagnosis, and patient management:
Ten Minute Tutorials: Two-page summaries covering key topics in COPD management – suitable for people with a limited knowledge of the topics.
Refresh My Memory: One-page revision sheets summarising the Ten Minute Tutorials, which can be used to reinforce learning, revise a topic or as a quick reference guide for those already familiar with the topic.
On Reflection: One-page case-based learning aid that presents real-life case studies designed to facilitate reflective learning.
Practical Pointers: Two-page resource providing practical information for healthcare professionals working directly with COPD patients.
