Alzheimer's Society reminiscence guide is the key to unlocking memories
The Alzheimer's Society has launched a new guide on reminiscence therapy in response to huge industry demand from care professionals. The new guide Memories are Made of This brings together theory and practical suggestions to help care professionals make the most of activities for people with dementia.
Alzheimer's Society leading reminiscence trainer and author of the guide, Julie Heathcote, says: "Reminiscing is a fun and uplifting tool that empowers people with dementia and helps them engage with others.
