The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) has launched a microsite which brings together its general practice guidance.
Located within a section of the main site are existing guidelines and advice for primary care professionals to help them keep up to date with NICE guidance.
GPs can use the information on the site to ensure that practices are up to date with clinical guidance and support for commissioners.
The site also includes a list of resources for special groups, including patients who smoke and antenatal care.
News on the latest guidance to affect primary care and announcements for when to expect forthcoming updates are regularly posted.
GPs can make comments on the new site until 1 December.
