The Nursing in Practice COPD survey – we need you

The Nursing in Practice COPD survey – we need you

The role of the primary care nurse is ever changing, and the range of clinical skills required is expanding. This short survey is going to concentrate on your experience and knowledge of managing patients with COPD.

Smoking-related disease, particularly COPD, is becoming more common, and a large number of patients are not diagnosed with the condition until they reach their 50s. Further, while around 900,000 people have been diagnosed with COPD, it is estimated that the true number living with the disease could be as high as 3.7 million. How confident are you in supporting and treating patients with COPD? And what advice do you give?

The survey results will be reported in the November/December 2010 issue of Nursing in Practice magazine.

There will also be a prize draw where one lucky winner will receive £50 worth of Marks & Spencer vouchers, so please take a few moments to complete this survey and provide your details.

The survey will close on 25 October.

This survey was developed and sponsored by MSD.
