Nursing in Practice receives MJA commendation

MJA commends nursinginpractice.com

Nursing in Practice has received a commendation from the prestigious Medical Journalists Association (MJA) in the Website of the Year category of its Summer Awards 2012.

The ceremony took place on Tuesday 10 July in London and was hosted by comedian and GP Dr Phil Hammond.

Judges Jon Hoeksma, editori and co-founder of E-Health Insider and Liz Woolf, Head of Cancer Content, Cancer Research UK said Nursing in Practice showed “a good understanding of the audience’s need to keep up to date easily across a wide variety of topics such as the news round ups and selected articles.”

Commenting on the honour, Alex Beaumont, General Manager at Campden Health said: “I’m delighted with what the team has achieved with nursinginpractice.com and its great to see their hard work recognised by the MJA. To be shortlisted for website of the year alongside an organisation like the BMJ just shows how far we’ve come.”
