Think about the environment you practice in, does it facilitate discussion around sex and relationships? What could be done to make the environment more comfortable for having discussions?
It is important to first clarify what the patient (and if applicable, the partner) see as the problems? Often this may be different to the healthcare professionals' thoughts or expectations.
