Following her keynote speech at Nursing in Practice Edinburgh event 3 March Shona Robison the Cabinet Secretary for Health, Wellbeing and Sportin the Scottish Parliament, answered five questions.
Q. What are the main challenges facing the NHS in Scotland? Are they unique to Scotland?
A. I don’t think the challenges are unique to Scotland because the whole health systems have challenges around demographic changes. We have a growing older population, which is a good thing, but they are living longer with various conditions.
