Nursing in Practice is hosting a free virtual event on Wednesday 21 September, bringing updates and insight on respiratory care.
The day, which comes as part of a series of virtual events across 2022, is chaired by registered nurse, midwife, health visitor and Nursing in Practice advisory board member Marilyn Eveleigh.
The programme, which nurses can still sign up to, looks at key aspects of respiratory care including asthma, COPD and allergies.
Highlights include Jemma Haines, chief allied health professional, Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, who will look at how to manage a chronic cough.
Meanwhile, Dr Wendy Jones – self-employed pharmacist Breastfeeding and Medication, Honorary Research Fellow, University of Swansea – will give an overview in treating asthma in the breastfeeding mother.
June Roberts, independent consultant nurse, will look at what’s trending in COPD, while Jenny Casey, respiratory nurse specialist, will consider the fundamentals of spirometry interpretation.
