What content is available online?

All the editorial content from each issue of Nursing in Practice magazine is available online. The archive of past issues goes back to the first issue in June 2001. You can also find daily news and presentations from our events.

Can I register for a print copy of Nursing in Practice right now?

Nursing in Practice magazine is available free to qualifying primary care nursing professionals. You can register here for your copy.

How do I get online access?

This is a free site; however, you do need to register to get access to the magazine content online. Get access nowby completing a short form (this is only available to qualifying individuals).

How do I obtain a username and password?

You set up your own username and password when you register with the site. If you provided us with your email address when you registered for a copy of Nursing in Practice magazine, your username and password will have been emailed to you at that address.

Help, I have forgotten my login details!

No problem, just use the “Remind me” link and we will send the missing information to your email address.

When do I need to log in?

You need to log in to view any articles available to registered readers only. When you click on a restricted link, you will be asked to log in. For the minimum interruption and to ensure smooth navigation around the site, tick the “Remember me” box – you will not have to log in again. When you next return to the site it should recognise you and display your username.

How do I log out?

You do not have to log out when you leave the site. If you have selected the “Remember me” feature you will stay logged in, as the site will remember you each time you visit. This saves you from having to remember and type your username and password each visit.

When you are logged in you will see the “logged in” as text in the top right of the site. When ever this text appears you will also see a “log out” link at the bottom of the navigation buttons. 

If you log out you will need to log in again when you open a new browser window or next return to the site 

How do I get an email bulletin?

Add your email address to the list here – it’s as easy as that. You can manage your email subscriptions or preferences in the future via your “My account” page.

How do I update my personal details online?

Once you have logged in using your username and password you will be able to see your full account details online, by clicking on “My Account”. You can use this feature to update any changes to your details and select your own preference of username and password.
