Nursing in Practice live event returns to Cardiff in two weeks

Nursing in Practice is getting ready for its latest free-to-attend nursing conference for primary care and community nurses in Cardiff this month.

General practice nurses, community nurses, health visitors, school nurses, care home nurses and other qualified nurses working in primary care or community settings can book tickets for our exclusive event being held on Thursday 19 September at the All Nations Centre.

Nursing in Practice Cardiff is an event where nurses can hear the latest best practice and clinical advice on a range of topics, including: MMR vaccinations, contraception, the menopause, frailty and older people’s care, mental health and the role of technology in managing diabetes.

  • Professor Tracy Daszkiewicz, executive director for public health and strategic partnerships, Aneurin Bevan University Health Board, and vice president, Faculty of Public Health
  • Michelle Moseley, education and lifelong learning adviser, RCN Wales
  • Rebecca Pickerill , clinical practice development manager, Brook
  • Paul Regan, team leader/mental health nurse, Primary Mental Health Support Services, Cardiff and Vale NHS. Founder of Stand Tall Strength and Wellbeing Ltd.

The programme will be chaired by Nursing in Practice advisory board member Helen Lewis, who will encourage discussion on key points and take your questions.

Nurses are advised to book now for their free ticket while places are available, for access to all conference sessions, CPD for your revalidation portfolio, free refreshments and lunch, networking time and access to an industry exhibition.

Tickets for the conference are free of charge for all fully qualified primary care and community nurses based in the UK.
