The Government has confirmed nurses and all other NHS staff will become eligible for a Covid-19 test ‘whether or not they have symptoms’.

Testing is already available to symptomatic NHS staff and other essential workers including those in emergency services, delivery drivers and journalists.

The Government has produced a guide explaining how essential workers can book a test at a regional testing site or via home delivery.
