Nursing in Practice 365 has launched a new free virtual event dedicated to vaccinations and immunisation in primary care.

Taking place on Wednesday 6 May 2026, the event is open to nurses and has been designed for those leading, delivering and supporting vaccination services in primary care.

Vaccination in primary care has rarely felt more demanding. New programmes are being introduced, patient hesitancy is becoming harder to navigate, and inequalities in uptake remain a persistent challenge that many practices are still trying to address.

This event is a chance to hear from clinicians who are facing the same pressures, get up to speed with the latest guidance, and ask experts the questions you haven’t had the chance to ask elsewhere.

Sessions across the day will cover pneumococcal disease and shingles, the gonorrhoea vaccine programme, seasonal vaccine selection and procurement, flu, RSV and the broader respiratory vaccine landscape, and travel vaccines.

Two dedicated panel discussions will focus on vaccine hesitancy and equity in immunisation. Nurses attending can claim 5.25 hours of CPD accreditation.

It is a full day online, with expert speakers, panel discussions and live Q&A throughout, and is completely free to attend.

Registration is now open. Visit the event website to secure your free place.
